Sam cooke fue un  gran músico  porque todos los ritmos a los que se acercaba cosechaba exitos. Sus comienzos fueron cantando con sus hermanos en iglesias pero a finales de los cincuenta , fue descubierto por un grupo famoso de Gospel "The Soul Stirrers" y al que se unió más tarde para hacer con su voz un Gospel algo tan especial que jamas se había hecho antes. El reinventó de nuevo el genero creando las  canciones  más hermosas que jamas nunca  se hayan escuchado, haciendo  que este mundo fuese un poco mejor. Más tarde decidió lanzarse en solitario componiendo música soul  teniendo un éxito impresionarte con "You Send Me" "Wonderful World" y "Cupid" que fue una de las canciones de amor más dulce de todos los tiempos y también hizo música para bailar como "Shake" 0 "Everybody loves cha cha cha". Su voz no se podía comparar a nadie anterior era como si Dios hablase a través de sus labios, la voz dulce de un ángel, creó su propia discográfica  para lanzar a jóvenes promesas.

Sam cooke decía que le gustaba cualquier canción que tuviera una buena historia con bonita melodía y  que se contara de forma sencilla para el mensaje le llegará a todos.  Para escribir una canción   el se inspiraba en las conversaciones cotidianas, siempre tenia sus oídos alerta para escuchar lo que la gente decía para luego componer. Cuando cantaba en la iglesia canciones Gospel el decía que siempre hay que dejar los tiempos de una frase a otra para buscar siempre la nota adecuada para darle un ritmo diferente al coro, y así lanzar el mensaje con énfasis con emoción en el compás final, porque para él era muy bonito cantar desde el corazón. Con  la música Soul el impulsaba sus sentimientos internos, el ejemplo lo tenemos en la canción "A change is Gonna Come"  tema inmortal  que hoy en el siglo XXI sigue siendo tan emotiva como en 1964 que fue cuando él la compuso emocionado cuando escuchó a Bob Dylan "Blowin in the Wind " en 1963 y le dejó exhausto como una persona de raza blanca tratara el tema del racismo en su canción en los tiempos que corrian.  "A change is Gonna Come" es una hermosa canción que habla con mucho sentimiento de los problemas raciales de principios de los años sesenta , tambien  habla de esperanza y de  muerte, con su voz describió subjetivamente como nadie lo hizo esos momentos de cambios. Aunque Sam Ya no esta con nosotros sus temas siguen  igual de vivos en nosotros como entonces , cuando escucho alguno de sus álbumes siento que dios se acerca a mi.

Es difícil pensar en una banda como los Beatles y no pensar en Liverpool. la banda esta fuertemente asociada a la ciudad, porque en ella se originó todo. Siempre quise visitar Liverpool, cada vez que pensaba en la posibilidad de visitarla me venían un cumulo de sentimientos que me es imposible explicar, pero si puedo contar  que en mis recuerdos un tren  me trajo desde Londres a Liverpool. Cuando un altavoz me decía que llegábamos a la estación de Liverpool, mi corazón dio un vuelco, sensación de nervios con ganas de llorar, con un sentimiento de alegría con ilusión, es difícil de explicar para una persona que siempre soñó con visitar la ciudad de su banda favorita. reconozco que soy una mujer que sufre de Beatlemania y con estos síntomas me baje de un tren con una gran emoción y lo primero que observe que todos los turistas incluyéndome a mí veníamos a la ciudad de Liverpool a empaparnos de todo lo referente a los Beatles.

La verdad es que la ciudad te ofrece diferentes Tours y yo no quería perderme ninguno pero lo primero que visité fue "The Beatle Story exhibition", lugar que las personas como yo que sufrimos de la Beatlemania no nos podiamos perder, es un fantástico museo  dedicado a los  Fab 4 haciendo un repaso a las historias de  John, Paul, George y Ringo desde sus inicios hasta la Beatlemania mundial y más allá.

Beatles Magical Mistery

Tras visitar este lugar me fui  a "Albert Dock" al punto de partida  para hacer un tour llamado "Beatles Magical Mistery Tour" un tour en autobús donde  se visita diferentes lugares y además  el guía  que nos acompaña te explica con una música de fondo de los Beatles   hace que el Tour  sea más autentico . A mi me encantó pero hay que tener un buen dominio del Ingles, pues lo guías hablan con un acento "scousse" y es más difícil de entender que el acento "londinense" y además los hispanohablantes estamos acostumbrados a escuchar en Inglés estándar, por lo que hay que prestar mucha atención para no perder nada mientras tu ojos están  como prismáticos  porque todo lo quieren ver.

El tour empieza haciendo un recorrido por los mismos lugares que se están  la película que lleva el el mismo nombre que el tour. el autobús va  por las calles con la  que se inspiraron en la canción Penny Lane y también se pasa por un portón forjado en rojo que es lo único  que queda del orfanato de "Strawberry Fields ", donde John Lennon  estando en  Almería  recordó su infancia en ese jardín en tiempo estival y allí la  compuso la canción "Strawberry Fields Forever" e.Si escuchas la canción detenidamente, esta tiene un cumulo de sensaciones las mismas que John tuvo también  en su mente cuando la escribió.

El tour te lleva a las casas donde se criaron John Lennon y Paul Mccartney ambas están conservadas por la National trust.

 En la "20, Forthlin Road"  esta la casa  donde Paul Mccartney paso su infancia y juventud. La casa esta muy conservada,  llena de magia, de tranquilidad y sobriedad.  todas las paredes están llenas de fotografías  sobre Paul  y su carrera musical .  Cuando llegas entras a la sala de estar  te sientas y te dan una breve explicación  donde te familiarizas con la casa. Lo mejor de todo fue ver  habitación donde John y Paul ensayaban sus primeras canciones.

Luego fui a  "Mendips" la casa donde John Lennon vivió con su tia Mimi y su tio George hasta los 22 años. Es impresionante haber estado en la casa de niñez y juventud de John Lennon, pasear el jardin donde aun están sembrados los arboles de la tia Mimi, la casa del árbol donde se escondía John,  la sala de estar, el cuarto de John, donde escribió tantas canciones, sientes algo especial como magia. Toda la casa esta impregnada de un olor delicioso. Al igual que la casa de Pul, esta casa tambien guarda un montón de recuerdos y fotografías de John y los Beatles.

El tour termina en "Mattew street" esta calle ubicada en centro de la ciudad y  la zona llena ce pubs y clubs, allí se encuentra "The Cavern Club".  El legendario club donde todo comenzó. Este lugar no necesita presentación, el club original fue lamentablemente demolido en la década de 1970, pero ha sido reconstruido y restaurado haciendo lo más parecido al original, Aparte de "The Cavern Club" en esta  misma calle hay un montón de referencias al honor de los Beatles desde una estatua de John Lennon hasta un hotel temático de lujo. 

Aquí termina el tour que hice hace algunos  años, se que hay un montón de cosas más que todavía tengo que descubrir de Liverpool, pero en una excursión de un dia no me dio tiempo a más, pero estoy deseando volver otra vez que será muy pronto y seguir contando todo lo que me falto contar en este blog  ¿porque no te apuntas?.

My Adventure in the  Beatles Liverpool

It is hard to think about a band like the Beatles and not think about Liverpool. the band is strongly associated with the city, because it originated all. I always wanted to visit Liverpool, every time I thought about the possibility of coming to visit a host of feelings that I cannot explain, but I can tell in my memories when I brought the train from London to Liverpool. When a speaker told me we got to Liverpool Station, my heart skipped a beat, nerves feelings ,looking forward to cry ,with a  happines feeling with excitement, it is difficult to explain to someone who has always dreamed of visiting the city of your favorite band, I recognize that I am a woman who suffers  Beatlemania and with these symptoms I get off of a train with great emotion and the first thing I noticed  that all visitors including me  we were coming to the city of Liverpool to soak up everything about the Beatles.

The truth is that the city offers different tours and I do not want to miss any but the first I visited was "The Beatles Story exhibition", a place that people like me who suffer from Beatlemania, we could not lose it ,it  is a fantastic museum dedicated to the Fab 4 by reviewing  John, Paul, George and Ringo stories from its beginnings to worldwide Beatlemania and beyond.

Beatles Magical Mistery

After visiting this place I went to Albert Dock to the starting point for a tour called "Beatles Magical Mystery Tour" bus tour in which you will visit different places and also while the guide is explaining you with background music of the Beatles that makes the most authentic Tour. I really loved it but you must have a good knowledge of English, because the guides speak with a "scousse" accent and it  is more difficult to understand than the London accent and also Spanish speakers are used to hear in standard English, so there to pay much attention to not lose anything while your eyes are like binoculars because they  want to see everything.

Strawberry Fields Gate

he tour began covering  the same places that  in the movie  which  has the same name. the bus is on  the streets which were inspired by the song Penny Lane and also passes through the red gate wrought is all that remains of the orphanage in "Strawberry Fields", where John Lennon visited Almería, he remembered his childhood in the garden in summer time and there he composed the song with the same name.If you listen to the song carefully, it has a host of feelings the same as John was also in his mind when he wrote it.

Paul Mccartney's childhood home

The tour takes you to the homes where they grew up John Lennon and Paul McCartney both are preserved by the National Trust. in the 20, Forthlin Road is the Paul McCartney's childhood home. The house is well conserved, full of magic, quiet and sobriety. all the walls are filled with Paul's photos. When  you go into the living room and sit down and the guide give a brief explanation where you become familiar with the house, that was great!. The best thing was to see the room where John and Paul rehearsing their first songs.

Then I went to "Mendips" the house where John Lennon lived with his Aunt Mimi and uncle George to 22 years old .It is amazing being in John Lennon childhood and youth House to go for a walk to the garden ,where even  are still planted Aunt Mimi's trees, the tree house where John used to hide , the living room, the room of John, where he wrote many songs, you feel something special like magic.The whole house is infused with a delicious smell. Like paul's house,  this keeps a lot of memories and photographs of John and the Beatles.

The tour ends in Matthew street, this street located in the city center and the area full of pubs and clubs, there is "The Cavern Club". The legendary club where it all began. This place needs no introduction.The original club was unfortunately demolished in the 1970s but has been rebuilt and restored making it closer to the original to its former glory as possible, Besides The Cavern Club in this street there are plenty of references to the honor of the Beatles from a statue of John Lennon themed hotels to luxury.

Here ends the tour I did a few years ago, is that there are plenty of things that I have yet to discover Liverpool, but on a day trip I did not get more, but I'm looking forward to be again very soon and still have all that I lacked to tell in this blog  why not join? .
