IF I WERE A NIGHTGALE

Sometimes when I close my eyes I imagine I'm a

bird, and my own mind begins to imagine is that bird.

That bird would be a small nightingale which would

be singing in a melodious  spontaneous and magic

voice from dawn to dusk. If I were a nightingale could

fly high in the sky away from my fears and

insecurities, breathing the fresh air that it never had  before. Being in heaven, I have to

worry too much about the negative feelings and thoughts. I would enjoy the sense of

freedom without thinking about the concerns. As migratory bird could travel to different

countries that  it would be an amazing experience  to watch  a very high multiple  landscapes

and exotic architectures, go from east to west and from south to north and vice versa. In

this way, it could broaden my horizons and knowledge, you could choose to live where I

wanted. How wonderful it would be to not worry about the future or the past!, Living in the

present, closing doors and opening new ones to happiness. Flying would escape ambitious

people, full of revenge, resentment and pain. If I were a Nightingale I would fly to a rock and

I would sit contemplate the sunset and wait for the light come in the morning and see that

there comes a new day full of hope, illusion, joy and love. If I were a nightingale I would

inspire poets, composers, painters and other artists to compose romantic creations such as

the poet Juan Ramon Jimenez did once saying: "A nightingale, fascinated by the graces of a

rose, every night constantly, it sang her its passion. "

Sing, sing all night little nightingale that I watch to enlighten your song with my thoughts

and all my romantic inspirations.

Aung San Suu Kyi

Women In The History Who Inspire Me Bravery

Over the years there have been many brave women whose actions have changed the course of history for their courage and valor. They have been a source of inspiration for me, I feel like a coward when I close my eyes and I think of some of these women gives me encouragement to keep going without lower the guard that I have to make my own decisions with courage without fearing anyone or anything so  I breathe deep  air and follow the model of brave women  who describe below.

Amelia Earhart
Amelia Earhart was the first woman who flew a plane, she challenged the whole world flying on her own across the Atlantic Ocean. She is a role model because she could face adversity with determination  without fearing anyone or anything and  the most importantly  she  moved on without looking back . As she launched the flight of a pulse she  changed us the direction and limits of all of us, she made the women we had expectations and most importantly made we recycled our beliefs saying "We can achieve what we aim for". Amelia tried to go around the world by plane, but unfortunately she could not make it, his plane disappeared and  we never heard from her, but we always remember her for their most important skills she achieved her dream to "fly" and that dream helped women of yesterday and today to fullfill their own dreams.

Hellen Keller
Helen Keller was another brave woman, worthy of admiration, a woman who as a child was deaf, dumb and blind, they all believed it was destined to remain in silence and darkness sitting in a corner of his house, however  she was not met, because with their courage and perseverance  she learned to communicate with the outside world and she  transmitted us his wisdom and new beliefs providing for posterity phrase "everything is possible for people with disabilities".For her there were no barriers to achieving her goals and dreams. Helen spent her life writing books, lecturing and taught the world that disabled people could be useful to society. Courage is one of the values which had more pronounced Helen had to persevere through silence and darkness.

Rose Parks
Rose Parks an African American woman, best known for his refusal to give place to a white man her seat on a segregated bus, this was a turning point in the American civil rights movement and ultimately led to the end of segregation in the U.S.Mrs. Parks became a symbol of courage and defense of the rights of African Americans, their actions have inspired millions of women to do the same all over the world.

Aung San Suu Kyi Burma
Aung San Suu Kyi Burma was a woman who was held captive for 20 years to revolt against the Burmese government . Thanks to their courage and strength made the whole world turn against oppressive Burmese government in 2010 making his release and now has become a leader in their country, freeing his people from abuse, slander and death of innocent people.

There are many more women who inspired me but I have chosen these four because in addition to his wisdom, courage and perseverance, they are primarily simple women, women from their humility, generosity, skills and ingenuity also  they taught us like me to know that anything is possible.

Meditar Una Experiencia Inolvidable

Meditate An Unforgettable Experience

When I meditate my mind is silent, I focus and experience a peace of mind where there is no hustle and bustle, that peace is so difficult for me to reach has become a challenge that every day I notice more and more benefits. In  Yoga-pilates classes I am learning to meditate, my house is impossible to concentrate because there is always noise, but when I wake up at six in the morning and everything was perfect silence and then I start to meditate, and what I experience at that time is very difficult to express in words, for inner peace surpasses all my understanding. It is also true that each of my meditations are different, sometimes when I meditate I feel like a struggle for control of my mind, while other times I do it without effort, my mind clears, I feel more calm and this makes me the rest of the day I can be more productive.

With meditation I have found that I improved my concentration, my mind is clearer, sharper, I could sleep better, it helps me develop my creative side, partly the result of this it  is my blog. I have noticed that I do not worry so much about the little things, because meditating learn to live in the here and now, before distressed me about the past and the future, which is almost what happens to me and further more sensational is that I see things from other perceptive Another thing that meditation has benefited me is that I have reduced my stress levels and I relieved my anxiety. Meditation has given me deeper understanding of my inner being, I have obtained a better understanding of the purpose of my life.

According to my teacher Eva Cruz Yoga-pilates: "Meditation is a simple and spontaneous action that unfortunately our mind is used for complications and need time to unlearn these bad habits." To me there is nothing better than having inner peace does not mean to be a retreat from the noise but I feel inspiration.Whatever you do though my mind is at peace, the day is less routine is different and the best part is that I see life more beautiful and feel a connection with the world, all of my interior lights, there is a bright light and intermittent makes my negative thinking disappears and that gives it a mental balance, so get over all things that disturb me mentally and that makes me happier.

WALKING AROUND YORK CITY

Reading the last  weekend  "York in 48 hours" in the digital newspaper "The Independent" by Simon Calder, it came my mind I've visited the city  several times and I think I still have a few things to discover, last year I visited the city in Easter  it was the fifth time Iwas there  and for me it was the first time visit. York is a very touristic city but it always has something you feel like you want to come back again.

York is a city that it was historically an important   northern Britain stronghold, the Romans called "Eboracum" they   fortified a great  wall  which surrounds the city and  today is intact. Since some of the sections there are   stunning views, the history of this city dates from the third century and  they began  with building a fortress that they called  "Multiangular Tower" it was a Roman military base that  it served to defend the North of Britain.

After the departure of the Romans came new settlers as Vikings who recorded the whole culture in this city who called it "Jorvick" hence the name "York".In the 70 archaeological excavations were made and today the city has are conserved a place where all Vikings remains found in these excavations called "Viking Centre Jorvick", in this place you can see and find out how this civilization lived this ethnic Scandinavian certainly lived a very orderly life, the description of Viking  seems  more a workplan than ethnicity.

"Saint Mary  Abbey"  is one of the richest monasteries in northern England today  we can only visit the ruins, the remains can be seen at the Garden Museum, just opposite it  is the Yorkshire Museum which is dedicated to all of York County, it  seems like this county was any other country .

Another place to emphasize is  "York Minster" it is a Gothic style and it has one of the most magnificent structures in Europe, the most striking is its austerity, haven of peace and light of its magnificent stained glass windows. This Minster  is built on the foundations of a Roman fortrees. if you have giddiness, you can climb a spiral staircase and see the  city sights from the tower of heaven. I was surprised when watching the altar I found just behind the famous "Great East Window," it is said  that it has larger worldwide.

Nobody can go from York without visiting the "Railway Museum" which is the largest railway museum in the world which opened in 1927.For locomotion fans it is the best place to visit, I found out step by step locomotion history since George Stephenson invented until nowadays. The most remarkable thing in the museum is the locomotive Mallard in 1938 ran 126 mph on Stoke Bank which once set a world speed record for steam locomotive, that record still stands.

It is Tea time  you cannot leave without visiting "Bettys"  in Helen, is a decorated Art Deco founded in the  early last century by a Swiss confectioner . It is my favorite place to have  tea,  it has got  one of the best selections of tea, sandwiches, scones and cakes with spectacular taste and tradition, while you eat with that environment and that music it  seems like you are in another time, there are always queues to come in it is no wonder that nobody wants to miss it!!!!!.

Other cities in the North of England were always rich in wool, coal, cotton and steel, York decided to make their wealth in chocolate and so  it became the chocolate city of England. This great tradition continues today, in King Street it is  "York's Chocolate Story" through a guided tour they will explain chocolate history, from its origins the  process, there is an artisan chocolate maker who live and in person  makes wonderful creations with chocolate, there is also a shop where you can buy  differents chocolates and also to taste, highly recommended for chocolate fans.

After this  York tour  through my favorite places , I should like to conclude by saying that I will come back very soon   never it is my last time to visit this wonderful city ,w
hy do not join me?.

Voy a Crear Circunstancias

I am going to create Good Luck!

This Easter, I went on holiday to the village of my father and I took a book which my dear friend Carmen Gijon coach recommended me that I read " The Good Luck" by Alex Rovira and Fernando Trias de Bes Mingot. It is a beautiful story, a very short story, but  it is very interesting, I read it in one day, although I had a lot of  difficulty in understanding it,  therefore it took me all  week  to assimilate the ten rules of the Good Luck, I am sharing with who like me, want to apply or continue to apply with your day-to-day.

When I started reading the book  I found it very  pleasing, it  reminded me the story books  that I am used to tell my children about “Sword in the Stone” and I was another little girl but then I found myself with this key sentence "Create Good Luck is only create circumstances"!and there I was blocked and I wondered if the origin of Good Luck was to create circumstances and good luck only up to me, I was very thoughtful, and even I underlined Sir Winston Churchill’s quotation "An optimist sees the opportunity in calamity and a pessimist, a calamity in an opportunity" and then I noticed and reflected about Bernard Shaw’s quotation:" The people who get on in this world are the people who get up and look for circumstances they want and if they cannot find them, makes them”.
According to Alex "is paradoxical to think that we are taught to think about things, and we are not taught ourselves thus we are not literate emotionally.

After meditating, researching and noting about this, a light bulb went off in my head and I create circumstances what is it then?,  if I do different things  I will get different results and  I have to do things to create myself Good Luck and not to wait to take everything for granted.I mentally thought  from now on I am going to look for the good luck because I see that in my current situation I have not it, therefore I must act,  to create new circumstances,  not to expect things to happen, I provoke them daily, I was very happy as I could be the creator of my own destiny.

I feel a great ignorant because I just thought that luck came out so I was not acting, because he considered not up to me, then why create new circumstances?, but if my attitude changes, it generates positive thoughts and acts I create new circumstances that will improve my life, I will not mind the fate, my destiny.
Because I am going to be  the creator of my destiny!.

The opportunities are there for everybody, those who expect to get the fate, and they never see them. I must be responsible for as I do and I will not blame others when make mistakes or I encounter problems, because I know it thereby I have the possibility of find the cause of the error and how to solve it.

Having witnessed this clearly,
I consider my mistakes and problems as opportunities to improve and learn and that makes me that adrenaline surge me because my goal is to advance and now I am  clear I know I will achieve! I believe on myself, I'm able to get it, consequently this belief and perseverance will help me succeed, in other words to have good luck.

After reflecting I have come to the conclusion that the durability of good luck depends on me, because I am the one who creates them, so I have to fetch it that they do not bring me it home.I will be generous, this is one of the most important values for me, because I think as much as  you give  the others and myself, I will get more, it is like 'boomerang' effect.

I will not put off until tomorrow what you can accomplish today. If I put off until tomorrow the preparation of my own destiny, maybe the good luck will never arrive. Creating them requires the first step. Otherwise the opportunity would be wasted therefore it will incapacitate to leverage what I have in front of me now. I must be more cautious, careful and discover the little things that are seemingly unnecessary but essential and important.

I must be very alert, because there is always a small detail that reveals the essence of my change, what good luck could be there and the chance is of secondary importance.
According to Alex "Those who only believe in chance, creating circumstances seems absurd. Those who create circumstances, the chance do not care them."

I will not resist or discourage, I will insist, and believe that I will overcome. Although I realize that before I will get success, I will have temporary have frustrations and failures, but I'm not going to give up because I know that behind this is the success.

From today, I am going to create Good Luck! Joining us?
